Civil Ceremony

The Civil Wedding Ceremony is carried out at the beautiful Residence of Palazzo Poli (17 th Century historical Palace, which gave hospitality to the famous Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni and to the painter Rosalba Carriera in the 18 th Century) in the heart of the Town. As alternative, on the bridal couple's request, the Ceremony can be carried out even at the Council Room (it can accomodate up to 60 people) of the Town Hall in Chioggia. (neo-classic building of Habsburg origin, facing the main road: Corso del Popolo).
In accordance with the State Laws, the Mayor or a Registrar (wearing a band representative of the colours of the Italian flag) perform the ceremony in Italian, which is at once translated by an interpreter into the language of the married couple.
The Reading of the civil vows usually takes about 20/25 minutes.
The marriage is immediately and legally recognized in ANY country: a certificate is at once issued


Symbolic Wedding

•  Private Lido Beach
•  Gondola on Canal Grande
and consist of personalized vows and exchange of rings. Even if without legal effects, a special Marriage Certificate is issued to treasure your Day in your memory forever
